Biography:

Ryan Church is a prolific concept designer and art director who continues to demonstrate his ability to fully realize a design from initial concept to art direction of the final look onscreen. His clients and employers include Walt Disney Imagineering, Universal Studios, Paramount Pictures, Walt Disney Pictures, Mattel Inc., Twentieth Century Fox, Industrial Light and Magic, Electronic Arts, Amblin Entertainment, Lightstorm Entertainment, The Dino Delaurentiis Company, and Lucasfilm.

Ryan was Concept Design Supervisor for Star Wars Episode 3 and a Senior Art Director at ILM, creating icons from the vehicles and environments of the Star Wars universe to the Tripods in The War of the Worlds. Recent projects include Concept Design work on James Cameron's Avatar, JJ Abrams' Star Trek, Michael Bay's Transformers 2 and Andrew Stanton's John Carter of Mars. He has taught Advanced Entertainment Design at Art Center. He currently resides in California where he enjoys drawing spaceships and explosions.
